The meeting for Formation of Alumni Executive Body was conducted on 20^th February , 2010 at art department in DPPS.

Formation of Alumni Executive Body                                                                                     

As proposed and decided in the 2^nd alumni meet held on Saturday, 29^th December 2009, the meeting included the Principal and the proposed Executive team consisting of 15 members. The following were the appointments made for the Executive Body –

Patron             - Principal, Ms. Sunila Athley,
                          proposed by Mr. Ravindra Tanwar, Teacher,
                          Seconded by Ms. Pooja Pipil, 2001 Batch and
                          all General alumni members.

President         - Mr. Mayur Kashikar, 1998 Batch,
                         proposed by Ms. Akshara Saini, 2004 Batch, 
                         Second by Priya Gupta, 2006 Batch.

Discussions were held on various issues keeping in mind the overall development and progress of the school and its students with the help of alumni i.e. Activities like seminars, workshops, etc.

It was discussed and finalized that the outgoing batch of class XII would be asked to pay Rs. 100 annually from coming session. DPPS Alumni, will be registered and would be having a different Bank Account, with Patron, Joint secretary and Treasurer to be official signatory. A proper receipt booklet would be printed in the name of DPPS Alumni. Different space to be allotted for Alumni in school website for information and up gradation.

Principal emphasized on the issue to popularize the school in more effective manner.

The meeting was concluded with the lot of high hopes for the future.

Dear students 

Many of you had requested to delay the meeting for around one week, as the students outside Delhi and Country will be coming back around 24-25th of December.

After considering the point organisers agreed on the same. New date and timings are as following:

REPORT OF ALUMNI MEET 
26th December, 2009

The Alumni meet was held on Saturday, 29th December, 2009. It was attended by around hundred students from batches 1998 onwards. There were around 100 Ex- Students and 20 teachers present on the occasion. The meeting was held with the purpose of formation of alumni body. The programme was started with the lightning of lamp followed by the prayer sung by alumni. The ceremonial cake cutting was done by the principal and the ex-students. Ms. Sunila Athley, Principal, also addressed the gathering. The student went down the memory lane and felt nostalgic. Teachers like Ms. Harsha, M. Kiran Kapoor, Ms. Jyoti Lamba also talked about the glorious years of the school and their bonding with the students. The event was also marked by the congratulatory note given by the alumni to Ms. Malik who has given 15 glorious year to the service of the school. There were wonderful performances by the students of class XII. Mr. Ravindra Tanwar briefed the students about the various posts of the Alumni body. The programme was followed by the lunch.
